Torrents and other questionable media sharing platforms have made going to the movies less of an in-thing. I mean, downloading a movie onto your computer and screening it on your full-HD TV in superb quality is way more convenient than going to the cinema. Okay, well maybe not, hence 2014 seems like a great time to be an avid cinema goer again.
Need for Speed (based on the popular video game) will be gracing our big screens in March 2014, and we're damn excited. Watch the trailer and get a feel of the testosterone rush a whole 1.5 hours of the movie will give you. It has a great cast, with Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul as the lead actor. And with a R750 million budget, we hope Need for Speed will rake in the billions at the box office. The last Hollywood hit which involved high-octane cars was Fast 6 – a total $788 million was made by the movie. You could basically buy all the cars on our website with that much money. What we'd really like to know is how the complete movie will turn since the death of Paul Walker who plays Brian O'Conner in the F&F movies.
So here's a great wishlist for you leading up to the movie's premier
- A customizable car like the VW Golf 5
- A Need for Speed game on the new Xbox One
